HSCNI launches new IT career opportunities at Business Services Organisation

  • Health & Social Care Northern Ireland has announced a series of new IT / Digital career opportunities located in Belfast and Derry/Londonderry with remote flexibility.

You may not initially think of Health & Social Care as a major player in the local tech scene, but it's one of Northern Ireland's largest employers and its Information Technology Service (ITS) team at Business Services Organisation (BSO) has been growing quickly.

ITS is responsible for delivery of day-to-day IT services across the organisation and also for delivering transformational change across Health & Social Care in Northern Ireland. This includes the digital infrastructure used by dental, pharmacy, nursing, social work, and other support staff across the region, from hospitals and primary care facilities to community workers.

The group is now hiring for a number of new IT and Digital roles in Operations, Infrastructure, and Programme Delivery. These are long-term career development opportunities located in Belfast and Derry/Londonderry, and they all come with flexibility to work remotely when possible depending on service needs.

"We put HSCNI’s patients, clients, service users, staff and caregivers at the centre of all we do by co-creating and delivering innovative technology-led change programmes, projects and services."

"We value and support our staff both professionally and personally. HSCNI offers IT and Digital staff ongoing continuing professional development opportunities, as well as a supportive working environment with an appropriate Work Life Balance including options for flexible and at-home working."
