Welltel integrates Irish IT and security firm Novi following €3m acquisition

  • Communications provider Welltel has announced plans to integrate managed security company Novi into its service following lst year's €3m acquisition.

    Irish telecoms firm Welltel provides managed communication services to over 3,000 business customers in Ireland and internationally. The firm is now planning to integrate secured communication provider Novi into its offering to create a one-stop-shop for secure end-to-end enterprise communications.

    Novi offers managed IT and security services and has offices in Kildare and Cork. The company was acquired by Welltel last year in a €3m acquisition deal, and will now be integrated into Welltel on all levels. The sales and service staff will be put together into one team, and Novi's local bases in Naas and Cork will be retained.

    The merged team will priovide Welltel customers with a suite of contact centres, phone systems, unified communications, managed IT services, cloud services, and security services all from one company. It hopes that this added value will help simplify the IT procurement process for its 3,000 customers worldwide.

    Ross Murray, CEO of Welltel, commented: "We are excited to announce that Novi will formally merge into Welltel and trade under our brand. This will make us the leading integrated communications and enterprise IT services provider in Ireland, and puts us in a position to offer these services to our customers in one seamless package."
