John O’Connell appointed Expleo Ireland's Head of Software Development

  • Local tech consulting and digital transformation firm Expleo Ireland has announced the appointment of John O’Connell as its Head of Software Development.

    As part of its NI expansion plans, local tech partner Expleo Ireland has announced that it's appointed a new Head of Software development. Industry veteran John O’Connell will now oversee the company's ongoing digital transformation projects for its clients.

    O'Connell comes from a software development background with an MSc in Technology Management and BE in Engineering from UCD and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Computers for Engineers from TCD. He has experience with data analytics and FinTech, and has worked in many technical leadership roles in the tech industry, most recently for firms such as Jet.com and eShopWorld.

    Expleo Ireland's Managing Director Phil Codd commented: "A bonafide tech leader, John has amassed a wealth of experience over a stellar 22-year career to date.
