Syndeo celebrates a bumper year, doubling staff

  • Belfast-based digital customer service tech company Syndeo has announced a record year in 2020, doubling headcount and securing a major US client.

The NI tech sector saw significant growth in 2020 despite the pandemic, or in many cases because of opportunities that presented themselves during lockdown. The increase in home working has led to a boom in everything from digital transformation and e-commerce to online marketing and customer service.

Belfast-based digital customer service tech firm Syndeo has announced that it had fantastic growth throughout 2020 and is gearing up for further expansion this year. The company has doubled its headcount in just the last six months, including new Marketing Manager Elaine Armstrong and Senior Implementation Consultant Keith Griffin.

The growth comes after the firm secured a major consulting contract with a US-headquartered multinational financial services company, which will generate significant revenue over the next three years. Syndeo provides AI consulting services and its cloud-based digital communications platform helps connect businesses with their customers using AI-powered chat tech.

Syndeo CEO Oliver Lennon commented on the expansion: "Digital communication is increasingly becoming the preferred choice for consumers and businesses are realising this now more than ever. As a result, they are reaching out to us asking how our AI & digital communications technology and CX consulting services can help."
