Tech companies from across Northern Ireland are invited to enter the 2020 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards.
Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 awards have been a staple of the local tech scene for as long as we can remember, with the awards now in their 21st year. The awards help to rank Ireland's top 50 fastest-growing tech firms, looking at growth in turnover of the local tech industry over the past four years.
Tech companies from across Northern Ireland are invited to apply for the awards, including those in software development, hardware, telecoms, media, and environmental and life sciences. The NI entries will be ranked alongside entries from the Republic of Ireland.

A total of 13 NI tech companies made last year's Fast 50 list, with Belfast-based air emissions data company CATAGEN taking the number two spot thanks to an impressive period of growth. Being part of the awards helped CATAGEN to attract the attention it needed to grow even faster, being recognised by Innovate UK and winning a £1.25m Future Leaders Fellowship Award.
This year's list will be particularly important as it will help to shine a spotlight on tech companies that are resilient and have adapted well to the pandemic.
Peter Allen, partner at Deloitte said: “The Fast 50 awards are a celebration of entrepreneurial tech businesses across Ireland. While this has been a hugely challenging year for the whole business community, many technology focused companies have remained resilient and continued to grow through the pandemic and we think it is important to recognise that achievement."
