Hubflow opens two new coworking spaces in Belfast for tech start-ups and entrepreneurs

  • New Hubflow coworking spaces open in Belfast city centre to support local tech start-ups, entrepreneurs, and freelancers.

Belfast has been transformed over the past several years into a real hub for tech and innovation, with a vibrant startup scene working on new projects in areas from MedTech and FinTech to digital transformation. Many new startups and entrepreneurs need the convenience of a city centre office and address without the high overheads, and so coworking spaces have boomed in recent years.

Coworking space Hubflow has announced that it's opened two new locations in Belfast in response to the needs of local tech entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small businesses. The new locations are in Dublin Road and Adelaide Street, and offer business grade office facilities with fully flexible membership terms, superfast wifi, and call and post-handling at a city centre address.

There are 64 flexible desks across the two working locations, 5 private office suites, 3 fully equipped meeting rooms, and a large boardroom for people to use, in addition to communal kitchens and an outside seating terrace. There's also one large private mezzanine floor with 26 workspaces that can be rented to a single company as it scales up.

The coronavirus pandemic has forced many businesses to work from home, and the tech scene is adapting to new hybrid work models that include part remote and part in-office work. To help facilitate this, Hubflow is offering a discounted Work From Home Package that gives access to the space for 2 days per week for £65/month.

Hubflow Managing Director Declan Mellan commented on the rise in popularity of coworking spaces: "Coworking spaces are really the best solution for start-ups and small businesses, as they allow a team to work together without being saddled by an expensive, long-term lease."

"Coworking spaces offer the flexibility that traditional offices simply can’t. I’ve lost count of how many visitors have come into our space and commented on the fantastic space we’ve created and I can’t wait to see it evolve and become a thriving community of like minded professionals."
