Chicago-headquartered technology and investment firm APEX Fintech Solutions, a PEAK6 company, has announced that it will be opening a new office in Belfast, creating 160 jobs.
Northern Ireland has welcomed dozens of major US tech firms over the past several years, establishing itself as a global hub for fintech, medtech, cyber-security, and emerging technologies. US-based firm APEX Fintech Solutions, a PEAK6 company has announced that it will be making a significant investment in NI tech with the opening of a new Belfast centre of excellence.
The Belfast office is aiming to create 160 high-quality tech jobs over the next four years, and has been given £1.04 million of support from Invest NI to help make it happen. The new roles will be predominantly software engineers, product managers, scrum masters, and engineering managers, in addition to a small team of support staff and HR professionals.
APEX Fintech Solutions, a PEAK6 company's immediate hiring needs are for software engineers specialising in Java or React, and the firm is keen to engage with new graduates from the local universities. The global firm is a private technology and investment firm that focuses on digital transformation and providing capital and strategic support to digital businesses.
Chief Operating Officer for APEX Fintech Solutions, Judi Hart, commented on the office: "Our strategy is to bring world-class technology and operational excellence to APEX Fintech Solutions businesses to help them prosper.
