Social Bee NI's Louise Brogan shortlisted for The Small Awards 2020

  • Social Bee NI founder Louise Brogan has been shortlisted for The Small Awards 2020 as one of Northern Ireland's best self-employed small business owners.

The Small Awards organised by Small Business Britain aims to shine a light on small businesses across the UK that are punching above their weight, with individuals and companies from every region nominated in categories such as "best family business" and "best digital only business," among others.

Belfast-based LinkedIn expert and trainer Louise Brogan has been shortlisted in this year's awards in the category of "best self employed small business owner." Louise founded Social Bee NI back in 2013 with the goal of helping small business owners and professionals across the industry to grow their professional social media presence.

This year's awards have been moved to a new online format due to the covid-19 outbreak, which will be taking place virtually on July 2nd. The event will include the award ceremony and networking and showcasing opportunities for the shortlisted companies, just done in an online format.

Louise commented on making the shortlist and adapting to the lockdown: "Lockdown has made this this year pretty challenging, juggling running my business alongside home-schooling my three children. I think the self-employed businesses of the UK have a resilience and determination to make it work. I am delighted to be shortlisted by The Small Awards 2020 as a candidate to take home the Sole to Sole award, which recognises the best self-employed small business owner.”
