Belfast-based Locate a Locum has secured a multi-year deal with the Cara Group, its first customer from the Republic of Ireland.
Locate a Locum helps locum healthcare professionals find flexible work opportunities through a website and mobile app which pairs pharmacists across the UK with over 8,000 pharmacies.
The Cara Group currently employs 190 staff in both pharmacy and retail across the island of Ireland.

Canice Nicholas, managing director at the Cara Group said that implementing the Locate a Locum Workforce Management platform will help the business improve communication across their 13 branches and allow staff members to easily access shifts.
She added: “The fundamental benefit of Locate a Locum’s solution is that it has been created for the pharmacy market.”
Locate a Locum has already secured business with the UK’s largest pharmacy chains, Boots, Well, Rowlands and Lloyds.
