The public will now be able to book sports facilities at the Stormont Estate online using the pitchbooking.com platform.
The Northern Ireland Civil Service Sports Association (NICSSA) has partnered with the local tech start-up Pitchbooking, which will handle the bookings and payments process for the rental of outdoor soccer, hockey and multisport facilities.
The software company launched in Belfast in early 2018 and how has 1000 bookable facilities on their platform across the UK.
NICSSA’s chief executive Gerry Kelly said: “Pitchbooking is now officially live at Playball Stormont. The new platform with its additional features offers our staff and users a more user friendly experience.

“It provides a very professional, visually pleasing and convenient way for people to view and book the pitches at Playball, using a mobile device or laptop.”
