Quadra Consulting is expanding by adding a new recruitment service with its staff resourcing business; Quadra Resource.

The management consultancy firm's new facet said its approach to sourcing staff is “based on personalities and relationships rather than checklists or CV scanning.”

However Quadra Resource wants to ensure it is known as a recruitment consultancy and not a recruitment agency.

Its aim is to focus on "taking the frustration away from recruitment". Quadra told Sync NI it wants to “make its clients and candidates the centre of what we do and provide a value-added service that also represents value for money.”

Established in 1991 and based in Holywood and Dublin, Quadra Consulting specialises in assisting its clients gain ISO-related certification standards. This involves helping businesses improve their cybersecurity and compliance systems.

Recruitment Director Robert Jess added that the new division now wants to reverse the negativity that is often associated with recruitment: “We understand that the use of recruitment providers does not always result in a positive experience. In many ways the industry has developed a negative image, whether this is from repeated nuisance calls or more fundamentally, a focus on getting a volume of CVs for a post as opposed to the best candidate for the role.

“Our objectives are to provide a high quality, collaborative solution, which results in placing candidates most suited to the role as opposed to a placement at any cost”.

Quadra Resource will offer its services across all sectors and is currently working with clients throughout the UK and Ireland. The new branch is also developing a small business package designed for businesses with 15 employees or less.

Robert added: “Companies of this size normally view the use of a recruitment service provider as an expensive luxury, but often end up paying the price of poor selection processes. We all know just how disruptive and costly it can be to invest a vast amount of time and effort in recruiting a member of staff, for them to leave the organisation quite quickly”.
