UK digital marketers invited to attend Belfast event

  • Northern Ireland digital agency The Tomorrow Lab announced the next instalment of its digital marketing event series, #TTLPresents, which will take place on September 26th.

Being hosted at the LIFE Centre in Belfast, the upcoming event will focus on ‘Social Media and Content Marketing’.

Attendees will hear from UK digital creators and strategists on how they have approached social media and content marketing campaigns for their clients and businesses, allowing them to apply insights and strategy to their own work in the future.

The event will also include an optional ‘Understanding Your Audience’ workshop element led by FATHOM which will offer attendees the opportunity to learn in a practical environment.

#TTLPresents supports the local marketing industry to network and learn from leaders and also donates 10% of ticket sales to a local charity, Friends of the Cancer Centre.

One of the headline speakers is Kiera Lawlor of award-winning digital agency Social Chain, which has offices across the UK, Berlin and New York. The firm also works with Apple, Sky, FIFA, Dreamworks, Amazon and the BBC.

The Tomorrow Lab’s own Hannah Nelson will discuss the ideation process for social media and wider content projects. Learning points will include how to stand out from competitors, useful tools to help the process and how to break through the barriers that can hold back creativity.

Other speakers include Jasmine Granton of specialist content marketing agency, Aira Digital, Gareth Dunlop of Belfast UX focused agency FATHOM and Dave Linton of social enterprise, Madlug.

Head of Digital Strategy at The Tomorrow Lab and #TTLPresents organiser, Jess Orr, said: “It’s really important to us that attendees leave with new insights and are inspired to push their creative boundaries and hatch plans to make their organisation thrive. We usually welcome up to 100 attendees at each #TTLPresents so having a varied speaker roster is incredibly important to ensure everyone benefits. The event setup is intentionally relaxed so that attendees feel comfortable asking questions and chatting with their neighbours to form new connections."

The event is now in its fifth year. The company states it is one of its most successful initiatives, having previously hosted speakers from global brands such as Innocent Drinks, Unilever and Google.

Tickets to #TTLPressents start at £30 excluding booking fee. To book tickets and for more information visit www.thetomorrowlab.com/events or @thetomorrowlab on social media.
