New Growth Marketing Live 2019 conference to take place in September

  • A new digital marketing conference is coming to Belfast from September 18th to 19th, aimed at marketing professionals who want to stay ahead of digital trends.

The world of marketing changes rapidly today, and it can be hard to keep ahead of the latest digital marketing trends. That's the problem that a new marketing conference coming to Belfast aims to tackle, by helping marketing professions to create data-driven campaigns which can cut through the online noise and more effectively reach their target audiences.

Growth Marketing Live 2019 will take place in Belfast's Life Church event space on the 18th and 19th of September this year, and over 150 marketing industry professionals are expected to attend. The event was founded digital marketing professional Kevin Traynor and aims to provide resources to those who want to use more evidence-based digital marketing tactics. Attendees will also be treated to a Street Art Tour to help them take inspiration and get motivated.

The first day of the event (September 18th) will be a full-day training session on topics such as the growing importance of SEO, digital PR, paid social marketing, growth hacking methods, data analytics for marketing. This training will be delivered thanks to digital solutions partners, including Big Motive, MCE PR, Continually, Glowmetrics,  Speed Motion Films, and growth-hacking consultants at Kurve.

The second day (September 19th) will be a conference featuring talks from high-profile experts in digital marketing such as James McErlean, the head of growth behind globally recognised meditation app Headspace, M&C Saatchi Performance CEO Christian Gladwell, and Roomex VP of Marketing Lia Bresnihan.

Kevin Traynor commented on the conference: "As technology advances and platforms proliferate the role of the modern marketer is becoming more complex. Providing creative solutions for those complexities is proving more difficult in a saturated digital environment."

Speaking about the diverse range of speakers at the conference, he said "Creativity and technology are equally important for the modern marketer which is why we’re striving to ensure a diverse range of voices from different backgrounds are heard at the conference. For too long, homogeneous line-ups of middle-aged men have been the mainstay of events. Growth Marketing Live intends to feature a minimum 50% female line-up to guarantee a fully informed discussion takes place."
