Liberty IT Belfast named one of the top UK companies to work for

Liberty IT in Belfast has been named one of the top 30 large companies to work for in the UK in the latest Great Place To Work Best Workplaces awards.

Every year, global business research initiative Great Place To Work produces its highly anticipated "Best Workplaces™" list, presenting awards to companies around the world that provide truly great working environments for staff. The awards factor in a well-defined set of variables key to creating a great workplace, including employee benefits, relationship-building, solid internal practices, and the sense of trust that employees report in their employer.

This year Belfast-based Liberty IT took one of the top spots, winning 28th place out of the entire United Kingdom in the large companies category. This category is for companies with 250 to 1000 employees, and features global giants such as Adobe, Lindt, and Paypal. Making it into this list is a sure sign that Liberty IT is building solid teams and trust here in Belfast.

Liberty IT explained on the award site that it has a strong focus on community and wellbeing of team-members. The company has regular meet-ups, BBQs, parties, and sometimes weekends away. The range of supportive activities and initiatives at the company has helped build trust between team members, and promotes a positive work/life balance that's often missing from large tech companies.
