The past few years have seen a surge of popularity in immersive education initiatives such hackathons and tech clubs like CoderDojo, which aims to engage young students in programming challenges and help them develop innovative projects. CoderDojo's Coolest Projects initiative helps to shine a light on some the brightest and best young innovators around the world, highlighting the coolest projects developed by young coders aged 7 to 17.

The 2019 Coolest Projects International event took place this week at RDS in Dublin, with presentations given by teams working on cool projects as part of their local CoderDojo group. The event also included a series of workshops running all throughout the day for kids and adults, and travel bursaries were available for those travelling far to the event.
