Lisburn-based Xperience group celebrates 50 years with new jobs

  • Lisburn-based IT solution provider Xperience Group is celebrating 50 years of business this week, announcing 22 new jobs as the company continues to grow year-on-year.

    It's a big week for Lisburn-based IT company Xperience Group, with the firm announcing 22 new jobs, successfully hitting growth targets, and celebrating its 50-year milestone of doing business across the UK and Ireland. Demand for IT solutions has risen sharply in recent years, and Xperience Group has been well positioned to take advantage of the burgeoning market.

    The company now employs 111 staff across the UK, with ten new staff recently added and another 12 positions still open for applications. They're currently recruiting for several graduate-level and engineering tech roles, including Level 2 Network Engineer and Systems Engineer positions based in Lisburn.

    Celebrating its 50 year milestone, Xperience Group also announced this week that it has secured an additional £1.5m in new customer sales since the start of 2019, and has met growth targets of 32% year-on-year. The firm recently has grown both organically and through acquisitions, and has recently introduced new cloud computing platforms.

    Iain O’Kane, Managing Director of Xperience Group, spoke about where the firm is going in the years to come: "This is an exciting time for Xperience Group as we have high expectations over the next five years from both organic and acquisitive growth and we are delighted about our plans for adding additional staff. Since starting fifty years ago in Northern Ireland, we have seen a continuous uptake in technology adoption, including a 30% increase in cloud adoption since 2015."
