Investment Group Tilney opens new Belfast office

  • UK financial investment giant Tilney Group has announced that opened a new office in Donegall Square East, Belfast.

Northern Ireland's financial services sector has grown significantly in the past several years, and now UK financial giant Tilney Group has set its sights on Belfast. The firm has opened a new office in the Imperial House building in Donegall Square East, Belfast, to accomodate its future recruitment plans as its Northern Ireland client base continues to grow.

Tilney currently manages over £24 billion in assets for private investors, wealthy families, and charities throughout the UK, and was recently named Wealth Manager of the Year by the Financial Times. The firm recognised that Northern Ireland's private wealth share is growing, with an estimated 12,500 millionaires now in the region and in need of financial management and investment services.

Graeme Creevy, Tilney's managing partner for Financial Planning in Belfast, said "We think the opportunities in Northern Ireland are excellent and have set in place ambitious plans to grow our presence further. With constant changes to the tax regime and pension rules and currently challenging investment markets, there is an increasing need to provide private clients and their families with a joined up approach to managing their financial affairs."
