The cyber security sector has exploded in Northern Ireland in recent months and is attracting global attention, most recently when
for its upcoming cyber security technology hub. Now IT outsourcing company Capita is joining the local market with a new Security Operations Centre due to open in Belfast.
The new security centre will be located within the Capita IT Services Centre of Excellence in Belfast and is being handled by the company's Newtownabbey-based subsidiary formerly known as Capita IT Managed Solutions.
Belfast Telegraph reports that Capita IT Managed Solutions has recently seen a profit drop of 27% and a similar drop in staff, and this new centre will reportedly launch with a staff of just eight people.
