Women founders from across Ireland are being invited to hear four entrepreneurs share their experiences of raising investment at an AwakenHub online event next week.
The September 15th event will feature Clare Ryan of ITUS Secure Technologies, Naomi McGregor of Movetru, Wendy Slattery of Kaidron and Rachel McMullin of FreQnc, who have collectively raised £3.28M in investment.
Starting at 5pm, the four founders will discuss their investment journeys to date, including what worked, what didn’t, the lessons learned and what they wish they had known before starting to raise. The event is part of AwakenHub’s monthly community series, normally available only to members, but which has been opened to all women founders in September.

The event comes during a busy September for AwakenHub, with applications also open for several programmes supporting women at different stages of their business and investment journeys.

WeScale Cohort 3, an all-island programme, led by InterTradeIreland in partnership with Invest Northern Ireland and Enterprise Ireland, is part of the Shared Island Enterprise Scheme, funded by the Government of Ireland. Delivered by AwakenHub, it is aimed at women founders with established businesses ready to scale, access new markets and prepare for investment. It combines world-class teaching with practical business application, bespoke mentoring and direct access to investor and corporate networks, helping founders move from growth ambition to investment readiness and execution.
