Crawford Mulholland, a leading Belfast mortgage advisory firm, has officially expanded its services with the launch of Crawford Mulholland Wealth, a dedicated wealth management and financial planning arm established to meet the evolving needs of its growing client base.
The new division follows a history of referring clients to partner advisers for pensions, investments and long-term financial planning. Recognising the opportunity to deliver a more joined-up, personal service, the firm made the strategic decision to bring wealth expertise in-house.
The launch was marked at a client event held at The Merchant Hotel in Belfast, hosted by broadcaster Claire McCollum, bringing together clients, partners and members of the local business community.

Sam Mulholland, Managing Partner at Crawford Mulholland said: “For years we’ve been referring clients elsewhere for pension and wealth advice, but we knew things could be done differently. We wanted a proposition built specifically for our clients; one that delivers the same trust, service and clarity people already expect from our mortgage team. Launching our own wealth business felt like the natural next step.”
To support this growth, Crawford Mulholland last year moved into a new, larger office on the Lisburn Road. The business has continued to expand, adding new talent, promoting from within and onboarding additional team members, with more joining this month.
Mark Crawford, Managing Partner at Crawford Mulholland, added: “What’s always mattered most to us is building long-term relationships with our clients and supporting them at every stage of their lives. By bringing wealth management into the business, we’re able to offer a more complete service under one roof, ensuring clients can move seamlessly from buying a home to planning for the future with the same trusted team around them.”
Since the initial launch of wealth services last year, the firm’s client base has climbed by 22%, reflecting strong demand for a more integrated approach to financial guidance. At the centre of the new division is Stephen McCallum, who joined as Director at Crawford Mulholland Wealth and brings extensive experience in full-spectrum financial planning. Stephen’s work has brought significant additional growth to the wealth arm, strengthening both the proposition and the company’s reach.
He commented: “My role is to help clients take control of their finances, not just for today, but for their future. Whether it’s investment planning, pensions, ISAs or preparing for family and retirement goals, we build a clear, tailored financial plan that gives clients confidence. Crawford Mulholland already had a strong client community, and it’s been exciting to help expand that and deliver this new wealth service.”
