DisplayNote, a provider of software for shared meeting and learning spaces, has appointed Paul McNicholl as Business Development Manager for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), as the company expands its channel strategy and route to market.
Ed Morgan, CEO of DisplayNote, said “the appointment reflects growing demand for solutions that improve collaboration experiences without requiring significant hardware investment. We’re seeing a clear shift in how organisations approach meeting spaces increasing focus on improving the experience within existing environments, rather than replacing infrastructure outright.”
As hybrid working becomes embedded, organisations are managing increasingly complex collaboration environments, often spanning multiple platforms, devices and locations. For MSPs supporting these environments, delivering a consistent user experience at scale remains a challenge.

In many cases, inconsistent meeting experiences are not caused by hardware limitations, but by fragmentation at the software and user experience layer. This can result in higher support volumes, operational inefficiencies, and frustration for end users.
Paul McNicholl said this gap presents an opportunity for MSPs to add value without introducing additional complexity.
“What we consistently see is that organisations don’t necessarily need to replace their hardware to improve the meeting room experience, There’s a real opportunity to enhance what’s already in place, in a way that works for both the end user and the teams supporting it.”
Paul brings experience across multiple industries and will focus on developing relationships with MSP partners, supporting the adoption of DisplayNote’s software within managed service offerings.
His role will centre on helping partners introduce solutions that can be deployed across diverse customer environments, while aligning with both commercial objectives and operational requirements.
DisplayNote’s platform acts as an experience layer across meeting rooms and classrooms, enabling organisations to standardise how spaces are used and managed.
For MSPs and their customers, this approach enables:
Paul added:
“For service providers, the challenge is always balancing innovation with operational reality. Any solution has to work reliably across multiple environments and be manageable at scale. That’s where we see strong alignment with what DisplayNote offers.”
The appointment comes as DisplayNote continues to expand its partner ecosystem globally, working with display vendors, channel partners and organisations across education and enterprise environments.
As organisations continue to optimise existing collaboration environments, DisplayNote’s focus on software-led standardisation positions it as a complementary layer within the broader workplace technology stack.
