Belfast-headquartered technology services firm Leaf IT has appointed Andrew Johnston as Managing Director, as founder Steven Goldblatt transitions into the role of Executive Chairman.
The leadership transition forms part of a structured growth plan for the all-island IT and cyber security provider, strengthening the business for its next phase of growth while maintaining continuity for customers and partners.
Andrew Johnston brings significant leadership and financial experience to the role, having spent ten years with Deloitte in Belfast and Dublin advising on growth and investment strategies, followed by four years as Chief Financial Officer of a high-growth technology partner. During his tenure, he supported rapid scaling, completed multiple acquisitions and helped secure both debt and equity funding.

In his new role, Johnston will work closely with Steven Goldblatt and the senior leadership team to build on Leaf IT’s strong foundations, with a continued focus on customer service and long-term partnerships.
Commenting on his appointment, Andrew Johnston said:

Steven Goldblatt, Founder and Executive Chairman of Leaf IT, said the appointment marked an important milestone for the business:

Andrew noted that the business will continues to invest in its people, customer support and strategic technology partnerships, while also evaluate acquisition opportunities aligned with Leaf IT’s culture and customer-first approach.
