OVER 500 employees from across Liberty IT’s Galway, Dublin and Belfast offices attended the company’s annual ‘Forward Live’ conference - a day dedicated to learning, innovation and connection across the company’s teams.

Hosted at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, Liberty IT Forward Live 2025 featured an action-packed agenda of expert-led sessions exploring the rapidly changing world of technology - from AI and MLOps best practices, to emerging trends in autonomous AI and quantum computing and building trust in AI through user-centred design. Sessions spanned a host of topics including ‘Building Innovative, Intelligent Solutions with AI’, ‘Rise of the Digital Workforce’, and ‘Real-World AI Delivery’.

The industry leader in digital innovation was joined by guest speakers and partners including Amazon Web Services (AWS) with the closing keynote, ‘The Future of Software Engineering’ delivered by Russell Kaplan, Founding President of artificial intelligence company, Cognition.

Liberty IT’s Managing Director, Tony Marron, opened the conference, celebrating the company’s achievements over the past year.

“During the past 12 months, over 100 colleagues have joined our business, helping us accelerate our journey and shape the future of technology at Liberty IT. Together we’re embracing emerging technologies and an ever-changing landscape as we continue to innovate and grow stronger together.

Forward Live is a celebration of everything that makes Liberty IT special - our people, our craft and our community. It is a unique day of learning for our teams, to bring them together for expert-led talks, practical takeaways and times to connect,” Tony said.

“The event perfectly captures the spirit of Liberty IT and our unique culture built on learning, connection and innovation. It’s a reminder of the power of the amazing people we have, and how together, we can drive meaningful change across our organisation, the tech industry and the customers we service around the world,” Tony added.

For me, one of the highlights from Forward Live was the announcement of our first six Culture Stars - employees that were being recognised for exemplifying the values and behaviours of Liberty IT. These individuals have been celebrated for bringing our culture to life through their daily actions, teamwork and leadership - this really was the perfect ending to a brilliant day.
