Deirdre Temple

With more than 20 years’ experience in the media industry, Deirdre Temple leads the Solutions team within the Technology division at RTÉ.
Her role focuses on bridging the gap between technology and business — working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to design and implement impactful, technology-led solutions.
Deirdre’s work is centred on challenging existing workflows and ways of thinking, leveraging RTÉ’s investment in technology to deliver strategic change. Her leadership cultivates a
culture of innovation, ensuring technology remains at the heart of creative and operational excellence across Ireland’s national broadcaster.
Scott Fischaber
CEO, Analytics Engines
A proven leader and entrepreneur, Scott Fischaber co-founded Analytics Engines following his PhD research at Queen’s University Belfast, where he specialised in image and signal processing.
Over the last 15 years, Scott has grown the company from university spin-out to one of Northern Ireland’s leading providers of analytics and AI solutions. His strong engineering background and technical expertise enable him to translate complex customer challenges into practical, data-driven solutions.
Scott is also a certified Data Ethics Professional from the Open Data Institute, applying this knowledge across both the public and private sectors. His work focuses not only on delivering innovation through AI, but also on ensuring its ethical and responsible use.
This session will explore the transformative impact of AI across media, technology, and business examining both the opportunities and challenges it presents in the 21st century.
