With A-level results out today and GCSEs to follow on 21 August, Economy Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald is encouraging students and parents to use the support available from her Department’s Careers Service.
Dr Archibald said: “It’s vitally important that young people receiving their exam results today know that professional, impartial advice is available to help them take the next step in their journey.
“Whatever your results, I want to reassure students and their parents or carers that the Careers Service is here to help. Our advisers have access to the latest labour market information and can provide guidance on a wide range of options, including further education, training, and employment opportunities.
“I wish all students the very best and encourage you to take advantage of the support available.”
