Konversational, the Irish IT consultancy, has announced its expansion into the US with the opening of a new office in New York.

The firm said that it anticipated that the new location would generate more than €5 million in revenue, creating up to 40 new roles in the first year.

The US launch, less than 18 months after Konversational's expansion into France, Germany and Switzerland, would allow the firm to capitalise on the near $4 billion in US demand for customer service tech, according to a spokeswoman.

Named this year as one of Europe's fastest-growing tech firms, Konversational saw sales rise from €158,805 in 2020 to €4.58 million in 2023, and recently forecast €12 million in sales for 2025. It employs 80 staff in Dublin, London, Paris, Nantes, Zurich and Munich.
