Ronnie Hamilton appointed Pre-Sales Director at Climb Channel Solutions Ireland

    Climb Channel Solutions Ireland today announces the appointment of Ronnie Hamilton as Pre-Sales Director.

    Bringing over two decades of technical expertise and strategic leadership to his new role, Ronnie will be responsible for leading pre-sales initiatives in Ireland for the business. This will include providing guidance to the pre-sales team and identifying IT solutions which address the evolving needs of partners and their customers.

    Ronnie will work closely with vendor sales and technical pre-sales teams to understand each offering and how they fit within the Climb Channel Solutions Ireland portfolio. He will also manage technical relationships and evaluate new and innovative technologies to develop strategies that foster growth for the company.

    Prior to taking up the position of Pre-Sales Director in Climb Channel Solutions Ireland, Ronnie held the role of Principal Technical Consultant and Senior Virtualisation Engineer within DataSolutions (acquired by Climb Global Solutions in October 2023). Earlier in his career, he held managerial and engineering roles in Lufthansa Technik Air Motive Ireland, the National College of Ireland, and Kingston Technology.

    As a keen community advocate, he currently runs the End User Community Ireland (EUC Ireland) and Nutanix Ireland user groups. This involves hosting quarterly meetings, arranging expert speakers and providing an environment for technical experts and vendors to gather, learn, and network.

    Ronnie holds an honours degree in Applied Computer Science from Ulster University. Throughout his career, he has also garnered several accreditations and certifications across leading vendors such as Cato Networks, Microsoft, Nutanix and SolarWinds.
