Start-up studio Dynamic Origin is proud to announce the upcoming launch of VENOM, an ultra-realistic, scientifically accurate simulator built in Unreal Engine 5. Designed for space enthusiasts, simulation fans, and the commercial lunar sector alike, VENOM delivers a breathtakingly immersive journey to Earth’s only natural satellite
With stunning real-time lighting, photorealistic textures, and true-to-life lunar physics, VENOM offers players a highly accurate moonwalking experience. Every crater, shadow, and piece of lunar debris has been meticulously recreated based on real lunar data and high-resolution topography scans. Whether exploring the Lunar South Pole or witnessing Earthrise over the horizon, VENOM redefines space simulation.
“We’re not just building a game — we’re building the closest thing to being on the Moon without leaving Earth – and we’ve had interest from the commercial Lunar sector as well.” said Ian Struthers, co-founder and lead developer at Dynamic Origin. “Unreal Engine 5 gave us the tools to finally do justice to the Moon’s beauty and vastness. Of course, VENOM is not just restricted to the moon. Thanks to the innovative solutions we have developed, we can very quickly build and simulate anywhere on earth as well, and we absolutely plan too.”

While VENOM’s roots are in gaming, its use cases extend beyond entertainment. The system architecture and simulation fidelity mean that use in commercial applications is possible — including real life training from the safety of a virtual environment.
VENOM is heading to Kickstarter to help fund the final development push and support features like multiplayer, extended mission content, and VR integration. Backers will receive exclusive rewards including early access, exclusive limited edition physical merchandise.
VENOM is currently in active development for PC, with more details and gameplay showcases to follow.
