Logicalis UK&I, an IT solutions and managed services provider, today announces that Mairead Malone has taken up the role of Country Leader for Ireland, alongside her existing position as Sales Director.
In her new role, Mairead will be expanding her remit beyond sales and working with the wider organisation – including teams across pre-sales, customer support, professional services, and finance.
As part of this, Mairead will engage with customers and partners, while helping to build the business strategy for Logicalis in Ireland. This will include strengthening the company’s offering and capabilities to provide more services which support its growing customer base.
She will also be involved in the continued growth and development of the team in Ireland – with a focus on expanding teams for enterprise, commercial and corporate accounts – as well as on creating a collaborative culture to support talent attraction and retention.

Mairead will continue with her responsibilities as Sales Director, overseeing sales and business growth for Logicalis in the Irish market. In particular, there will be a focus on extending its foothold with new clients in the financial services, manufacturing, and public sectors.
With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Mairead previously held roles in Sungard Availability Services (regional vice president for channel and cloud sales Europe); Arrow, formerly Commtech (group commercial director); and Dell Technologies, formerly EMC (various sales and management roles).
Speaking about her new role, Mairead said: "Having operated in Ireland for 30 years, Logicalis has had great success in the market, and our aim is to continue growing and investing locally. From compliance to virtualisation, managed services to smart buildings, our aim has always been to drive change for customers. It’s important that we do this in a way that balances the impact and cost of change with its opportunity and value. In turn, this will enable and empower organisations, not just today but in the long-term.”
