The Artificial Intelligence Collaboration Centre (AICC) has launched a new online, self-paced course, Driving Value from AI, designed to equip business leaders in Northern Ireland with the knowledge and confidence to harness artificial intelligence (AI) for innovation, efficiency, and growth.
Delivered in partnership with The Data Lab, Scotland’s Innovation Centre for Data and AI, this fully funded course provides a practical introduction to AI, helping businesses within Northern Ireland understand its real-world impact and uncover opportunities for AI adoption within their organisations.
The course which is delivered over 14 hours is entirely non-technical, meaning anyone can benefit from participating in it, regardless of their existing knowledge about data and technology.
Why take this course?
"Now is the time for businesses to embrace AI, and the AICC is committed to supporting them on this journey," said David Crozier CBE, Director at the AICC. "We’re delighted to launch the Driving Value from AI course, in partnership with The Data Lab, as the first in our online training programme. This marks a key step toward our goal of equipping over 3,000 individuals across Northern Ireland with the knowledge to adopt AI confidently and responsibly. By breaking down barriers to AI adoption, we’re empowering businesses across all industries to boost productivity, stay competitive, and drive real impact."
Anna Ashton Scott, Head of Skills at The Data Lab, said, "Our goal with the Driving Value from AI programme is to make AI accessible and actionable for business leaders. Anyone who signs up will quickly see how they can translate their knowledge into practical benefits for their organisations and overcome any hesitation about using AI."
