Education Minister Paul Givan has paid tribute to staff working across the education and youth sectors who have been recognised in the New Year Honours list for 2025.
The Minister paid tribute to those who have been acknowledged as having gone above and beyond to provide education for our children and young people.
The Minister said: “I congratulate all those from the education sector who have been recognised in the New Year Honours list for 2025.
“Since being appointed Education Minister I have visited a wide range of schools across Northern Ireland. I have been privileged to see the excellent work done in our schools and witnessed wonderful examples of schools and teachers putting the needs of every child first.

“I pay tribute to all of the education workforce for their determination and dedication, especially those honoured today.
“We have a highly trained, highly motivated education workforce which is the envy of many nations across the world. I am grateful for all your efforts, and you can be proud of these richly deserved awards.”
