Belfast MedTech Company secures $18.2M in latest investment round

  • Axial3D, a leader in creating AI-powered 3D medical imaging algorithms, automated planning and patient specific 3D solutions, is thrilled to announce the completion of a new investment round totalling USD 18.2 million. This latest funding includes continued support from Axial3D’s first round investors

    Techstart, Innovation Ulster Limited and US and NI business Angels as well as additional follow-on investment from Clarendon. It also welcomes three new strategic investors: 57 Stars, Whiterock, and Innovate UK. In particular, with its USD 10 million investment, 57 Stars will become the company’s largest shareholder.

    He further added, “this is the latest deal out of our long-standing Northern Ireland investment program, which has now committed over USD 50 million, and a prime example of our investment thesis of finding compelling opportunities at the intersection of healthcare and technology.”
