Wksense, an Irish AI-driven HR tech start-up transforming high-volume recruitment, has announced it has raised €825,000 in pre-seed funding to fuel its global expansion and product innovation.
The investment, supported by Enterprise Ireland’s High Potential Start-Up (HPSU) fund and a strategic group of angel investors, will enable Wrksense to scale its operations, enhance platform features, and establish key partnerships.
Co-founded by Andrew Connolly, former Managing Director of Morgan McKinley, Canada and Ruaidhrí McDonnell, former Head of Software Architecture at Spencer Stuart and eShopworld, Wrksense is designed specifically for recruitment agencies managing exclusive projects. The platform enables these agencies to tailor their service offering and scale, from a single role to thousands effortlessly, by offering AI-powered tools for easy project management, detailed reporting, and improved customer satisfaction.
“At Wrksense, our goal is to empower recruitment agencies to enhance client relationships by automating administrative tasks, so they can focus on delivering a more personalised, high-touch service,” said, Andrew Connolly, CEO and co-founder of Wrksense.
“This funding allows us to scale our global footprint and further enhance our platform’s capabilities. Since our launch in April, we’ve rapidly expanded to five countries, including Canada, the USA, and the UK, and we’re just getting started.”

Wrksense uniquely integrates seamlessly with leading Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, enabling agencies to offer a modern, tech-driven solution for managing exclusive recruitment projects. With Wrksense’s AI-driven tools, agencies can reduce manual tasks, better engage with clients, and efficiently handle even the most complex hiring needs.
This €825,000 pre-seed funding marks a key milestone for Wrksense as it looks to expand its reach, enhance its AI features, and build strategic partnerships with recruitment industry leaders.

As part of its commitment to innovation, Wrksense is currently participating in the inaugural AI Ecosystem Accelerator Programme being delivered by NovaUCD and CeADAR, Ireland’s National Centre for AI. This programme, funded by the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH), supports start-ups driving disruptive AI solutions for a global market.
