Danske Bank has recently donated 50 laptops to its charity partner, Include Youth. The bank’s Technology and Digital Development department were able to recycle laptops no longer needed by the bank and donate them.
Include Youth’s Give and Take programme supports care experienced children and young people in Northern Ireland and works to break the cycle of deprivation, improve their confidence, help get young people work ready and support them to live independently. Danske Bank appointed the charity as its new charity partner earlier this year, after a successful three-year partnership with AWARE NI.
The laptops will support young people completing their Essential Skills qualifications through the charity, as well as supporting staff delivering the learning. The support is part of the bank’s wider charity partnership with Include Youth, which includes fundraising for the charity’s Give and Take programme, volunteering, delivering CV, interview and financial education sessions, donations of goods and wider support and awareness for the charity.
