venYou recently launched its fourth serviced office space, Thomas House, located on James Street South between Bedford Street and Brunswick Street, in Belfast’s central business district.

The move marks the fourth serviced office location for venYou, which was launched in 2019, with Thomas House offering an elevated Belfast workspace environment featuring five floors for flexible and dynamic office working. It features a communal executive lounge, bean to cup coffee, and ground floor boardroom with video conferencing facilities.

The city sleek loft style workspace provides 1500sq ft of open plan flexible floor plates and comes with all the benefits of venYou’s leading services, including state-of-the-art technology, lease flexibility, modern meeting rooms and a friendly and reliable dedicated housekeeping team. Thomas House is an ideal base for modern businesses, with easy access to transport and amenities.

Client Services Director, Donna Linehan, and Operations Director, Jonny Hill, who have together managed the flagship Scottish Provident Building for over 15 years, launched venYou in a bid to cater for expanding companies seeking a more open plan design. Donna and Jonny therefore began to seek further serviced office locations in a bid to create more open plan spaces in order to be able to provide this offering for clients, particularly within the IT sphere, whose work tends to lend itself to collaborative open spaces.

Across the office locations, which also includes Ascot House and Northern Court, venYou clients vary from PR agencies; to travel companies; marketing businesses; video branding; solicitors and more. Flexibility is key, with the team at venYou particularly open to adapting office space to accommodate individual clients’ needs.

We don’t just cater for one sector,” Donna comments. “We like to have something which will tick the box for everyone and are extremely open to adapting the space according to our clients’ varying bespoke needs.”

With an acoustically sound-tested boardroom with ClickShare technology allowing office-users to join video conferences from their own laptop safely and securely, Jonny says quality and simplicity are key. “For our clients, simplicity is key, we want to make sure all of our clients are content and the technology provided is reliable and straightforward to use.”

Thomas House also boasts state-of-the-art phone booths located off the executive lounge, which Donna and Jonny ensured are the best on offer: “As the phone booths are situated within a communal area, we went all out to ensure privacy is prioritised for the booth-user.”

The open-plan spaces lend themselves ideally to companies seeking collaboration, innovation and productivity, with high-end design also reflected throughout all five floors in the quality of the aesthetics.

Jonny adds there is so much more to venYou in addition to the bespoke office space, describing the shared sense of community afforded by the various breakout areas, shared terrace, and regular networking events. He comments: “Thomas House is more than an office, it is all about the added services as well.”

Everything Donna and Jonny can control to make a company’s experience at work as pleasurable as possible is carried out at venYou, particularly in regards to customer service. “It is very important to have the same faces coming and going every day, for example with our housekeeping and client services staff, a lot of the team have been with us for over 10 years. It is all about consistency and also helps put the client at ease. They become almost like family. Our relationships and customer service offering are extremely important to us at venYou.”
