Dell Technologies has appointed Jason Ward as Vice President EMEA North and Managing Director of Dell Technologies Ireland and Northern Ireland.

In his role, Jason will help customers and partners across the island of Ireland to transform their organisations using AI and take advantage of the latest technologies in areas such as cybersecurity, intelligent edge, multicloud, 5G and Generative AI.

Jason had led the Irish business from 2020 to 2023 having been the Vice-President for Medium Business Western Europe for two years. He previously held the role of MD of the enterprise business in the Nordics. Most recently, Jason led the Dell Technologies EMEA Global Alliances team as it delivered advanced digital solutions to partners and Cloud Service Providers.

Jason Ward, Managing Director of Dell Technologies Ireland and Northern Ireland and Vice President of Northern Europe said: “I am thrilled to share that I have assumed the role of Vice President EMEA North and Managing Director of Dell Technologies Ireland and Northern Ireland. This new position gives me responsibility for running our business on the island of Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Finland, and the Baltics, offering a diverse and challenging opportunity.

“The breadth and variety within the countries I am responsible for will make this a really interesting and exciting opportunity. I am particularly pleased to be back working with our teams in Ireland and Northern Ireland again – a place where I know lots of our customers and partners and have had the privilege of helping them along different stages of their transformation journeys in the past.

“One common theme I've observed in my interactions with organizations and leaders is their focus on embracing Generative AI securely and sustainably to drive innovation, unlock new market opportunities, productivity gains and cost savings. The shift towards accelerated computing is revolutionizing productivity levels, akin to the industrial revolution, with potential gains of 20-40 per cent. This is a conversation in every boardroom. It's going to change the basis and is changing the basis of competition. And if you don't have a strategy here, it's an existential #threat.

“At Dell Technologies we lead in GenAI, cybersecurity, Multi-Cloud, Edge, and workplace transformation, providing world class solutions and expertise to help organizations thrive in the AI era.

“I look forward to supporting our customers and partners as they navigate change and drive AI-powered innovation.”
