Crown Commercial Service names eir evo UK as a supplier to offer vast portfolio of network solutions from fibre to software-defined networking as part of the new Network Services 3 framework [RM6116].
Leading local telecoms and IT provider eir evo UK has been successfully named on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) new ‘cloud first’ procurement framework, underlining its strength and experience delivering network services, unified communications and contact centre services to support the public sector.
The largest public procurement body in the UK, CCS assisted thousands of organisations across central government, public and third sectors with £3.8 billion worth of commercial benefits in 2022/23. The development of the new framework opens up a host of new benefits to public sector organisations through greater choice of suppliers with trust and credibility, enhanced flexibility and control, plus a more streamlined process for enhanced efficiencies.

Following a detailed competitive selection process, eir evo UK has been named as an NS3 supplier under 4 lots (see below). The competition process required them to showcase their technical capability, experience, and record of accomplishment in delivering WAN (Wide Area Network), LAN (Local Area Network) and Digital Communications services, as well as Contract Centre Solutions to Public Sector organisations. The process also required eir evo UK to demonstrate and evidence quality assurance, legislative compliance, industry best practice, and sustainability goals and outcomes.
