The entry deadline for the 2023 Northern Ireland Social Enterprise Awards has been extended to midnight on Sunday 6th August, to allow entrants additional time to complete their submissions. The prestigious awards recognise the remarkable individuals, teams and organisations that contribute to the success and innovation of the social enterprise sector.
With an expanded range of categories, participants have the opportunity to highlight their excellence, resilience, and positive social impact. With 14 categories to enter, including Social Enterprise of the Year, Emerging Leader, Outstanding Team and Best Cross-Sector Collaboration, entrants are encouraged to highlight their achievements and advancements over the past year in their applications. Entry is free and open to all social enterprises operating within Northern Ireland.

Information on eligibility criteria and categories can found on the online awards portal. Entrants can save and edit their entry to add any final changes to their submissions before the deadline of midnight on Sunday 6th August.
The judging process will commence in early September, with an independent panel of experts assessing the written entries.
Winners will be revealed on Friday 27th October at a gala ceremony in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Belfast hosted by BBC radio presenter and Social Enterprise NI ambassador Cate Conway. This highly anticipated event attracted 600+ people last year and guests can expect another action-packed evening, filled with inspiration and excitement.
