Whitespace Global launched Northern Ireland’s first dedicated digital innovation Community, at an inaugural event which took place at ECIT, Queen’s Road in Belfast on 18th May.
The Community has been set up to connect public and private sector technologists and innovators from across the UK and Island of Ireland in an open community, with regular online and in-person events, to connect, share, learn, and collaborate.
Whitespace is proud to have hosted the Corporate Innovation Community NI in Belfast for the first time. The appetite for innovation across NI is greater than ever and the attending representatives are keen to get involved in exploring approaches to innovation projects that lead to positive results in the region.

Raj Kher, Community Manager, commented: “We are delighted to see momentum in NI in relation to the innovation ecosystem - from the numbers who have expressed interest in joining the Community and those who attended our inaugural session in Belfast. We look forward to growing this group and providing a forum to collaborate on Innovation initiatives across the country to help the NI economy grow and recover in challenging times”.
