Logicalis UK&I invests €1.8M in new Dublin office

  • Logicalis UK & Ireland (UK&I) today announces that it has invested more than €1.8 million in its new Dublin office in Donnybrook.

This investment includes cutting-edge technologies to help the organisation enable hybrid working, while supporting collaboration and communication among the team. As part of this, the new facility has also been equipped with both traditional workspaces and modern collaboration areas.

Furthermore, Logicalis UK&I has rolled out a system which allows staff to book desks, spaces and meeting rooms, thus creating a more flexible and digitised workplace. Each meeting room has been fitted with CISCO and Microsoft technologies to facilitate engagement, interaction and collaboration across various locations.

With Logicalis’s carbon neutral commitment, which it hopes to be by 2025, and its formal commitment to the Science-based Targets Initiative (SBTi) net-zero standard, to reduce total emissions to net zero by 2050, this office helps drive towards these goals.

The upgrade also provides the business with an office designed for today’s sustainable world and helping the local team to hit their renewable energy and waste management targets which have been set across the company’s worldwide operations.

Logicalis UK&I has taken an active role in developing, deploying and managing this new office space, choosing partners and technologies that boost efficiency and productivity for staff. Through the new systems and solutions, the company can also inform people about any outbreaks of illness in communal or meeting spaces.

As well as the office and having grown its revenues over 24% in recent years, the company is continuing to invest in its people with recruitment across all departments including sales, technical and administration. In fact, 18% of the team in Ireland have joined within the last 12 months – including Mairead Malone who was recently appointed as Sales Director for Ireland.

With this new facility and the expanding team in Ireland, Logicalis UK&I remains focused on providing technology expertise to help companies build for success. Its portfolio and solutions help to deliver results for a wide range of customers including leaders across the education, financial services, ecommerce and healthcare sectors.

Alex Louth, Managing Director, Logicalis UK&I, said: “This investment serves as part of our vision to help customers leverage technology to provide value and deliver success. This modern workspace is a fantastic building block to help us drive towards our goals and keep the standards of the team members in the office and at home at an ultimate high.

“We are a customer-focused service business, so our biggest asset is our people. This new office is all about collaboration, culture and engagement. The workplace as we know it has changed, which meant our physical presence also needed to evolve. We have shaped the facility in Dublin to bridge the gap not just between the office and home but also between staff, customers and partners.

“Furthermore, the team continues to grow so it’s absolutely crucial for us to have both digital channels and physical spaces for people to come together and communicate, wherever they are. By striking a balance between online engagement and physical connection, we hope to facilitate connection for staff and drive innovation for customers.”
