Local charity, Friends of the Cancer Centre is based in the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital and provides support to families across Northern Ireland whose lives are impacted by cancer. The charity’s work focuses on four key areas – patient care, patient comfort, cancer awareness and research.
The charity is here to enhance the quality of patient care and support through its life-changing and life-saving work. It does this by funding additional nurses, supporting local research and providing practical support, such as financial grants, which help families through a difficult time.
