Danske Bank Group has today announced that Gerry Mallon is to step down from his position as Chief Executive of Danske Bank UK (Northern Bank Limited). He will be replaced in the role by current Deputy CEO and Managing Director of Business Banking, Kevin Kingston. This appointment is subject to the regulatory approval process.

“Kevin and his wider management team will now lead the Bank on to the next stage in its development journey.”
Kevin Kingston joined Danske Bank from Ulster Bank in 2008. In 2011 he became Managing Director of Business Banking and in 2012 was also designated as Deputy Chief Executive. He is the immediate past President of the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce & Industry and a former President of the Chartered Accountants Ulster Society.
