Bloc are actively recruiting for a Technical Lead, E-Commerce Development Manager.
You will be joining a small team of fullstack developers who support, maintain, and develop the blocblinds.co.uk website. We have 12 years in the blinds industry and rapidly grown over the last couple of years. Our bespoke ecommerce platform is written in .NET framework with a HTML, CSS and JavaScript front-end. We are looking for someone to lead the team and the future of our bespoke ecommerce platform.
As our Lead Ecommerce Software Engineer, you will be setting the technical direction and responsible for the planning, designing, and architecting of additions to the platform. This will include leading and mentoring your fellow team. This can include suggestions and means to refactor, rearchitect where applicable. You will be hands-on with code daily. You will be an interface point with the ecommerce managers and marketing teams who will provide input into updates and future directions.

What we ask of you:
Ideal candidates will have at least five years' experience in a software engineering role creating web, mobile, ecommerce of SaaS systems
In return we are open to candidates who want to work full time or part-time. Our working model is hybrid, with a combination of working remotely and in Magherafelt.
