Your role in the team
We are currently seeking an Accounting Team Leader to support our growing financial footprint in Northern Ireland. The team supports the vehicle service contract segment and offers a unique opportunity to see the business from start to finish. Team members will learn about our products, sales channels, and claim handling; see how customer transactions flow into the accounting records and financial statements; and get exposure to the service contract and P&C insurance industries. This is an opportunity to get behind the numbers and see how the business works. The team is an integral part of the business unit with exposure to other departments within the business unit.
The role will include overseeing the monthly close, preparing account reconciliations and coordinating with external providers. The successful candidate will be expected to provide timely financial analysis and information to facilitate sound business decisions. They will play a critical role in driving overall success by turning information into analytics and insights. They will be a thought leader and able to identify opportunities and solutions which deliver on business objectives
