Your role in the team
The Enterprise Data Quality team works across the Enterprise to execute data quality initiatives in partnership with Data Governance and Allstate and contributes to the foundation for all data-driven decision-making at Allstate.
In this role you will perform data profiling across multiple data types, validate the data quality through business rule development, review and analyze data profiling results, and participate in the data investigation workshops.
The successful candidate will leverage the approved methodology and tools to identify, analyze and investigate data for the value and accuracy relative to a particular asset as well as a given data element.
Information Analysts will lead the transformation of data quality at Allstate by enabling users across the ecosystem to engage in a self-service approach. You will develop key profiling standards that will then be leveraged by others as the strategic vision is enabled. This will involve the centralized access to DQ metrics by data consumers across the enterprise and on-demand profiling/scorecards by data consumers.
Training and education on our methodology and approaches will be provided as a part of the onboarding process. This role will develop additional skills in the areas of data profiling and data quality.
