    Job Description

    The Belonging Programme Manager will play a critical role in the planning, coordination, implementation, & delivery of educational initiatives and resources to help promote individual and organizational responsibility for DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) across Version 1.

    The Belonging Programme Manager will be an expert in global cultures which are critical to our organisation as we grow. The role will involve supporting Version 1 in celebrating and embracing these different cultures.

    This is a full-time permanent role with some occasional travel - UK/Ireland base and ideally close to Newcastle / Birmingham / London / Dublin

    You will be partnering closely with our Leaders and People Managers across the organisation as well as our Organisational Development Consultants to deliver these initiatives.

    • This position is responsible for using organizational data to assist appropriate stakeholders in developing strategies, and identifying, and aligning initiatives that leverage DEI education best practices.
    • Provides consultation, support, and strategic advising to key stakeholders, people managers and leadership teams on DEI education priorities, capabilities, offerings, and best practices.
    • Assesses the DEI educational needs of the organization, designs and delivers initiatives to be responsive to those needs while simultaneously advancing innovative efforts to enhance learning and foster a more inclusive organisational culture.
    • Leads the design, planning and delivery of education initiatives related to inclusion, diversity, equity, and accountability topics impacting DEI in Version 1. Strong facilitation and coaching mindset required.
    • Leads the development of evidence-based education and facilitation curricula, using multiple modalities, for diverse employees on inclusion, diversity, equity, and accountability topics.
    • Leads the design of supplemental toolkits on DEI topics including, inclusion, diversity, equity, accountability, accessibility, LGBTQIA+, allyship and more.
    • Develop and implement the appropriate measures and tools to ensure DEI education programs are continuously evaluated. Utilizes organizational data and evidence-based practices to inform the development of DEI education and training efforts.
    • Provide quarterly reporting on DEI education initiatives.
    • Partners with our Instructional Designer to develop eLearning courses and distribute DEI education through micro-learnings on demand.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Organisational Psychology, Organisational Behaviour, Talent Development, HR, or a related field is an advantage but not required.
    • Experience designing, managing, facilitating, and delivering high-quality, comprehensive diversity, equity and inclusion educational programs and initiatives.
    • Evaluation and assessment of diversity, equity, and inclusion education and initiatives including quantitative and qualitative methods experience is an advantage.
    • Demonstrated understanding and skill in developing innovative approaches to DEI education required with an awareness of global, national, and regional trends around DEI.
    • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, MS Teams Live Event and PowerPoint required.
    • Experience working with eLearning development tools such as Articulate RISE is an advantage but not necessary.
    • Strong coaching, communication & collaboration skills supported by evidence and examples.
    • Ability to collaborate and work successfully across all levels of the organisation, demonstrating excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills required.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and drive to work independently.
