Abstract
In the last few years, Apache Kafka has been used extensively in enterprises for real-time data collecting, delivering, and processing. In this talk, we’ll dive into some of the key internals that help make Kafka popular.

Bio
Pascal is a Senior Manager Customer Innovation at Confluent. Previously he has worked at Scotibank, TD Bank as an Enterprise Architect where he introduced Kafka and event streaming architecture to different line of business. He also won multiple technology awards throughout his career. When Pascal is not busy working on his System Engineering work, he is writing code to improve Kafka encryption. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, movies and outdoor activities.
