Now in its 8th year, Digital DNA 2020 powered by PwC, is expecting more than 3,000 delegates from right across the tech community in Northern Ireland and further afield, to hear from an impressive line-up of world class speakers and some of the most influential names in the local tech industry.

The biggest tech and business event in Northern Ireland is expecting 160+ speakers, contributing over 2-days on a range of thought provoking topics from Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Big Data, Marketing and Fintech. Discussions around the Future of Work, talent and climate change are also expected to be high up the agenda of the much-anticipated event, as is the emergence of 5G and the impact it could have on society.

Commenting on the plans for June 2020, organisers have also confirmed the return of upStart, the highly regarded pitch competition for early stage start-ups with prizes including exclusive mentoring opportunities, facilitated introductions to invited investors and unparalleled networking opportunities as well as an immersive in-market trip overseas for the overall winning team.

Simon Bailie, CEO of Digital DNA said: “This year’s Digital DNA will once again provide a unique opportunity for the growing tech community in Belfast to come together, either as a business or an organisation looking to expand their reach or as individuals curious about the fast-growing tech space and looking to learn from peers and industry leaders.”

“In recent years, Digital DNA has become an important part of the tech community in Belfast. The event provides a unique opportunity to bring the whole community together for 2 days. That includes traditional developers and engineers, data scientists or AI specialists, marketers or cyber security specialists through to entrepreneurs and founders, our aim is for all areas of the tech industry to be inspired about the opportunities that lie ahead and to consider the role they can play in the future.”

With the event returning to St Georges Market for the 5th consecutive year, Digital DNA 2020 will once again be powered by PwC, the third consecutive year the largest professional services firm in NI has partnered with Digital DNA.

PwC Partner Lynne Rainey said: “Technology’s influence on PwC is transformative - both in terms of the way our people work and the way we are supporting our clients. As sponsors, we’re delighted to not only showcase what that means in reality with hands-on experiences, but also support the start-ups and entrepreneurs who are rightly attracting global attention to our local tech sector.”

Digital DNA 2020 returns to St George’s Market Belfast on Tuesday 16th & Wednesday 17th June with delegate passes going on sale from Monday 27th January at 9am.
