DWF Offers Food Sector a Practical Approach to Brexit

  • DWF host seminar to address issues with the agri-food sector and other current issues.

From Brexit to the obesity strategy, and nano-technology to waste management, Northern Ireland’s agri-food sector is facing several barriers to growth. To address these and other current issues, international legal business DWF is hosting a seminar which aims to ‘drive out the politics of Brexit to get to the practical.

Taking place at Belfast’s recently opened Grand Central Hotel on Thursday 18th October, the event will provide important insights for the leaders of NI’s top food and drink businesses.

Chaired by BBC journalist Wendy Austin, speakers will include Dominic Watkins, Partner and Head of Food Group for DWF, Tina McKenzie, MD of Staffline Group Recruitment and Philip Woolsey, CEO of Greiner Packaging UK.

Ken Rutherford, Executive Partner of DWF Belfast said: “The Brexit deadline is looming yet there is still little clarity in relation to regulation. Because waiting is no longer good enough, we have brought together a group of experts who will help to guide and advise those who are tasked with driving our agri-food sector forward.”

The event runs from 9.30am to 1pm and full details are available from www.dwf.law/en/Events
