  • Uber Eats, the company’s food delivery service, is expanding to over 100 cities in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, according to reports by TechCrunch.

Immediate launches of the service will take place in Ireland, Kenya, Egypt, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Ukraine.

The service will also launch in around 40 additional cities in the UK and 45 new cities in France.

As of writing, the company operates in 200 cities around the world, and the company says that 45 of these markets are currently profitable.

According to The New York Times, Uber Eats trips grew by more than 24 times between March 2016 and March 2017. A large part of this success is their partnership with McDonalds, according to Buzzed. They deliver from nearly 7,000 McDonald’s stores in 20 countries, around 9 percent of all stores on the app.
